Audio visual that works the way people do

Audio visual and multimedia that works the way people do.

We design audio visual and multimedia systems around how people actually work, meet and collaborate. By understanding how a space is used, we create environments that are intuitive to operate and dependable every time they are switched on, removing the friction that holds meetings up and erodes confidence in the technology.

Our systems integrate cleanly with IT, unified communications and building services, delivering consistent performance and the same high-quality experience in every space, from a single meeting room to a multi-site estate. The result is technology people trust, support teams can manage with ease, and an estate that performs as one.

PTS brings 40 years of built-environment experience to AV and multimedia design. We understand the procurement stages, the integrators, the systems architects and the operational realities, because we have been specifying, designing and commissioning these environments since before unified communications existed.

Space-led AV design

From everyday meeting spaces to mission critical control rooms, we design, deliver and support audio visual environments that perform first time and keep performing long after handover.

Audio Visual Capabilities — PTS
01

Meeting rooms and divisible spaces

Standardised room platforms that scale from huddle to boardroom, with partition aware control that follows the walls as they move.

02

Auditoriums and event spaces

Large format display, line array audio and show control engineered for flagship venues and live audiences at scale.

03

Control rooms and Network Operation Centres

Always on video walls, KVM and operator ergonomics built for situational awareness around the clock.

04

Digital signage and IPTV distribution

Centrally managed content and live channels delivered to every screen across the estate over a single IP network.

05

Space booking and management interfaces

Room panels, occupancy sensing and booking integrations that turn floor space into measurable, usable data.

06

Immersive spaces and XR integration

Projection, spatial audio and mixed reality environments built for training, visualisation and experience.

Recent engagements across different sectors and scales, each built on the same approach: independent specification, no vendor agreements, and spaces that perform.

Frequently asked questions

The five questions we answer before every audio visual engagement. If yours isn’t here, book 30 minutes and put it to us directly.

The earlier the better. Audio visual systems are closely linked to room layouts, power, data, acoustics and overall user experience.

Bringing in an AV consultant during early design stages ensures spaces are designed around how they will actually be used, whether that is meeting rooms, event spaces or control rooms. It also helps avoid costly redesign later in the project.

The biggest challenge with AV is usability, not installation. Systems need to be intuitive, consistent and reliable for everyday use.

This is achieved by understanding the client’s use cases and using that information to design standardised and scalable room types. Simplifying the user interfaces and aligning with familiar platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Ongoing testing, commissioning and optimisation also help ensure long-term performance.

AV-over-IP allows audio visual content to be distributed over a standard network rather than dedicated AV cabling.

It is typically considered for larger or more complex environments where flexibility, scalability and integration with IT systems are important, such as multi-floor workplaces, event spaces or digital signage networks.

Different spaces have very different requirements, from small meeting rooms to large auditoriums and flexible event environments. It is important to talk to the appropriate client team, that use or book the spaces, early in the design process to ensure their specific requirements are factored into the design.

A space-led AV design approach ensures each area is fit for purpose while maintaining a consistent user experience. This can include adaptable spaces that support presentations, hybrid meetings and events, alongside simple, easy-to-use setups for everyday collaboration.

Modern AV systems are closely integrated with networks, unified communications platforms and smart building technologies.

This requires coordination with IT and other disciplines at the very start of the project to ensure sufficient bandwidth, secure connectivity and seamless interoperability. When integrated effectively, AV supports a connected workplace environment that enhances collaboration and overall user experience.
