Welcome to the Spring-Summer 2013 edition of Insight. This year, PTS Consulting Group celebrates its 30 year anniversary.
As we approach our 30th birthday, we are delighted to have received a number of prestigious accolades.
PTS has won a place on the latest Sunday Times PwC Profit Track 100, securing 65th position. This list ranks Britain’s private companies by fastest growing profits. We also secured 56th place in the MSP Mentor list of the world’s top Managed Services providers. The hat-trick was achieved with the “Outstanding Green Initiative” at the Global Business Excellence Awards. This recognises the fantastic ethical decommissioning work undertaken by our team as part of a global Network Transformation Programme at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Multimedia and Audio Visual is a key focus in this edition, with news on our acquisition of Media Access Group in Asia and a feature on life as a Multimedia Consultant in our ‘PTS People’ section. On the subject of people, PTS is delighted to welcome Kuldip Sandhu as PTS Principal Consultant and Head of Business Transformation and Change. Kuldip will lead the development and delivery of our client value proposition in this area.
Our project highlights in this issue include; Interim and Permanent IT Resourcing at Nexus International School, an ICT Outsourcing project at the Singapore Sports Hub and Technology Consulting at the University of Durham.
The ‘Events’ section clearly demonstrates how active PTS is in the global Data Centre solutions market, as we announce our attendance at a record number of global DatacenterDynamics events this year.
Finally, we give you some perspectives from our experts with reading matter on the risks of project risk management; the selection of cloud services and what the latest wireless standards mean for the Higher Education sector.
